Clear Cache doesn't appear to be working

I have a bunch of very large files in the Media Cache Files folder.   Within the Video Editor, I tried going to Edit > Preferences > Media and using the Clean Now button but the files are still present.  What am I missing?

Which version? OS?

Delete manually.

Premiere Elements 2020 on Windows 10.

What kind of large files. They should be all very small.

Post screenshot with folder structure also showing.

Those large files should not be there.

It should only be ims files only and no larger than 4KB.

I would delete some of the large files manually and see what happens.
