Drop down window "project elements" disappeared

I still use Premiere Elements version 15.

In an old project, I always had the problem, that the window "project elements" (in German "Projektelemente") opened half outside of the screen. I tried to move the window to a better position, but only the size of the window changed. Suddenly the window disappeared. Now I can't find the window any more. If I click on the "project elements" button, nothing happens.

When I create a new project, the window openes correctly.

How can I get back my window in my old project?

Here is the screenshot. If I click on "Projektelemente", no window opens. It is the same, if I use 2 screens. I think, the size of the window is set to zero or it is hided behind other windows.

Open the Windows menu at top of the program and select Restore Workspace. (In German, the Fenster menu. Restore Workspace is the first choice under this menu.)

Hello Steve, thank you for this hint. I already tried this. It doesn't help. The only effect is, that it returns from two-screen mode to single screen.

In some of the other Adobe programs it is sometimes suggested that holding down the ALT key when launching will "reset the preferences" and sometimes cure odd behavior.   I've never had to do it.  When I try it on my computer, I see no ill effects.   Perhaps you can try it and see what happens!

The procedure is described here:  https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/premiere-elements/using/preferences.html

Thank you all for your hints! All I tried (incl. ALT and Shift-ALT at launching process) did not help.

I started my project from zero. Now everything is (still) working.
