If it is an iMovie project, nothing will work.  If it is the output product of iMovie it is likely to be in a standardized format and would be useful in any video editor, including Premiere Elements of any version.   What is the file extension or name of the file?

I was advised by someone on this group to get Premiere Elements 2020 and I installed a 30 day trial.

When I tried to import the iMOVIEMOBILE file, the Get Media option didn't display the file name.
Where the file name box says "All supported media" as that is the folder where the file is but it's not selectable.  Does this imply that iMOVIEMOBILE files are not supported by Premiere Elements?

If it is, then perhaps I need to change some settings.  Any help or advice will be appreciated.

It turned out it was an iMovie project file.  My nephew has an Apple Mac and uses iMovie, so I sent it to him.  He opened the project file and saved it as an MP4 file, so the issue is resolved.  Many thanks for your help.

Kind regards

Dave 🙂
