In the middle of a project my CTI time indicator changed from Minutes to Frames. In Projet settings Timebase is greyed out at Frames, it won't change. It appears to be locked on Frames. How do I get Minutes back.
Thank you
Cher! Phil

Your timecode will always show as a mix of time and frames. 00;00;00;00 means hours;minutes;seconds;frames. It's never one or the other.
If you're seeing only frames, it could be that you've merely zoomed into the timeline.

It looks like you tried to post a screenshot of your timeline. Please give that another go. We might better be able to help you if we can see it.
And thanks for the kind works about my books, Phil! They've been a labor of love for nearly 15 years at this point!

Wow! You're right! That is showing something other than timecode. Never seen anything like that before!
If you double-click to select all of the numbers (26659) and then right-click, there are a number of options you can select from that I assume will affect what numbers display. Although I tried several combinations and couldn't get my numbers to look like yours.
I don't know if you want to play around with those and see if it makes a difference at your end. Or hopefully someone will have a solution. I'm totally stumped!

A few weeks back I posted a message about my time inicator went to frams and I could not get it back to minutes. Even the forum could not give me a solution. One of my fillow vio editors came up with a solution. Just hold down the Ctrl key and then select the time box next to the Render button. It seems to be a Short Cut Key but I coul not find it lister anyplace. It msaay have come from Pro.
Thanks all.
Cheers! Phil

The transition from "Pro" can be difficult. The two programs are related in name only.

Same as in Pro.
Hold down CTRL then click on the frames or timecode.
