I have problems with import the video files from my Google 6A in Elements Premiere 2024.
I was already helped by Adope engineers but it is not working properly.
If I convert the video file with HansBrake then I import de video.
But that is not I think the way of working

Open your video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text of this report and paste it to this forum.
With this detailed report we'll better be able to advise you how to proceed.

A google search suggests that the VP9 video codec is a unique Google product and can create challenges in a variety of video editors. Change the setting in your phone to record in a "most compatable" codec like H.264.

Elements does not support VP9
You need to set your phone to H264 as shown in your screenshot.
as for now you can convert your footage with
HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder
or
Shutter Encoder encoding|converting video FREE PC|Mac
(btw this is the way to go).

Dear All.
Thank you for your good support. I can use Elements Premiere 2024 for proces my video taken with my Google Pixel 6A. But I need HandBrake. I can life with that. My Camera , Canon has no problems.

You should be able to set the phone to a more compatible setting and avoid HandBrake. I got this from a google search:
