Just purchased Adobe Premiere Elements, as soon as I click on Soical Media during the export I get the following error:
"Online Services encountered an error. The service will now be terminated or paused if possible."
I can click OK and it still takes me into the Soical Media section to select youtube.

The connections between Premiere Elements and any social media don't always work. The likely cause is a protocalls change at the social media site. The fix is to export your video to a local drive, review it and then use the social media's uploader.

Thanks for the info Bill, is this the official word from Adobe? I'm concerned that I purchased a product and a feature that I would consider important is not working and a "fix" needs to be done to get around it. Not what I would expect from Adobe, been using their other products such as Lightroom and Photoshop for years. Thanks again for your reply Bill.

No, it is not an official word. Most of the help here comes from other users and most of that comes from only a few regular contributors. As users, we don't know what the official work might be. Historically, the answer to your question has been the same. YouTube (or other service) will make a change to their connection protocols and it stops working for some. I'm sorry that you are dissatisfied. If you bought directly from Adobe, there is a 30 day refund policy.

Thanks again, I do really appreciate your input on this subject. My frustration was not directed to you, just with the product not working the way I had expected. Once again, thanks for your response.

So spent the last 2 days with chat support and it looks like this is their official fix to this problem.
