I launched PE Organizer for the first time in a couple of weeks and have the following issues:
- first the screens (dual monitor) randomly flash black then back on (this is distracting but seemingly ok otherwise)
- then the main screen will (after a click) go dimmer (colors muted, everything dark)
- in an attempt to check my settings, I cannot access anything from the top menu bar (file, edit, etc.) - click and nothing happens
I turned off HDR on both monitors and this seems to have resolved the dimming issue, but still cannot access the menu.
Have tried launching in administrator mode, no difference. Can't tell if I need an update, as can't access Help.
Windows PC 11. Nvidia drivers are up to date

Is the PE you're working with Premiere Elements video editor or Photoshop Elements photo editor?
Since you have dual monitors, are you running the Organizer in your #1 monitor?

Premiere Elements 2024, and wow, your second question made me think.
It is launching onto display #2 (which is actually what I want), so I tried moving it onto #1 and it was very strange.
Yes! I was able to get the menus to pull down (couldn't find what I needed, but at least the menu worked). I have to admit I do not understand how my various apps choose which monitor to launch to (#2 is my gaming monitor directly in front, and #1 is for my browser, but when not gaming, #2 is preferred for everything except my browser) as some launch to 1 and others to 2.

It was strange because initially the menu worked...but then my screen flashed and the menu no longer worked.

Thank you, but could you please explain? Does this driver replace the gaming driver or work in conjunction with it? Are you suggesting I need to uninstall the gaming, install the studio, and then when I game, reinstall the gaming?

Does this driver replace the gaming driver

Yes.
Choose Custom and do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver) directly from NVIDIA.
