Premiere Elements 2020 - Export Error

Hi, I'm trying to Export & Share a 50 minute/4k video file that is 35GB in size in Premiere Elements 2020 and I'm encountering an Export Error saying "Error Compiling Movie - You do not have permission to Create or Delete the Output file" I'm the only user of the MacBook and I have plenty of available memory (105GB). Are you able to explain why I'm getting this error message please and advise how I can overcome it? NB, I do not want to reduce the quality of the output file to reduce the size if that is the issue.

Try exporting to a different location.

I do not have an Apple.  But, I've read here and on other forums that recent Apple system upgrades have made all or parts of the disk drives write only.  It has something to do with security.   Check to make sure but I think you have to use the operating system (Finder?) to make your folders writable.
