I'm trying to import some videos from iPhone13 and to Premiere Elements 2022
I get an error of HEVC codec and Premiere Elements 2022 redirects to "Using HEVC and HEIF media on Windows (adobe.com)"
I follow the instrucions (bought the codec from Microsoft) and problem persistes...
Can you help me ?

Did you reboot your computer after installing the Microsoft extensions?
You have posted in the Photoshop Elements forum. I will move your post to the Premiere Elements forum.

It could be that Apple has changed up their HEVC codec again. I think I remember seeing a similar post a few months ago. The only solution was to convert the file using Handbrake.
Open the HEVC video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text of this report and paste it here. These specs may reveal what's going on.

When I bought and installed the HEVC codec from Microsoft, I (somehow!) did it incorrectly. It took a session with online Adobe technicians to straighten it out. Try this:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
There is also the long running topic in this forum that addresses the issue. It may help to follow the suggestions there. https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-elements-discussions/faq-what-should-i-do-if-premiere-elemen...

Changing permissions to EVERYONE in a system folder does not seam to be prudent...
