Premiere Elements 2024 UI Preference won't switch to dark mode

In Adobe Premiere Elements 2024, I go to Edit-Preferences-General-UI Mode-Dark to try to change the UI from Light to Dark.  I receive the message that I need to relaunch the application and I close out the application and the home screen and reopen.  The UI keeps showing in Light Mode.  I also tried using the 'Sun' icon but it still won't change to Dark Mode.   Any ideas as to how to get the preference to stick?

I'm on Windows 11.  To get the dark mode to 'stick', I have to press two "OK" buttons then close and re-open.   Without the second OK button, it does not stay dark.

Thank you.  That helped.  My pop up window for the Preferences was not showing the OK button.  I dragged the window up a little and was just able to see the OK button.  This solved the issue when I hit it.  However, now I can't figure out how to make the Preferences pop up window smaller so I can see the commands at the bottom.  There is not a scroll bar or a maximize window available in the pop up.  Any ideas?  I just switched to the 2024 version from the 2019 version....

I don't know enough about your computer to be sure, but I think that it might be that your screen settings for your graphics driver in the operating system are not set right.

Does your screen resolution meet minimum requirements: 1280x800 display resolution (at 100% scale factor)

Thank you so much.  That fixed the issue.  Mine was too high.  Thank you again!
