Samsun S22 Ultra HEVC (x265) MP4 file unable to import to PSE 2023 Orgainzier

Just installed PSE 2023 and cannot import a S22 Ultra HEVC MP4 file into Orgainzer.  I get the message:

Running WIndows 11.  I have the MS HEIF & HEVC add ons installed.

The funny thing is I can pull the file into Premiere Elements and edit the file, but Organizer rejects the file.

Any help is appreciated on getting Organizer to recognize the file

Thanks. I tried the first one with no luck.  It's strange that Premiere will open/edit the file, but Organizer says the same file is invalid.

Hi,

The file you shared seems to be importing fine for me in Organizer 2023.

Could you please try the following:

Clear Media Cache via Edit > Preferences > Files.

Please let me know if the problem persists.

I cleared the media cache and still no luck.  It is very strange in that some MP4 files will import and some will not.  All the MP4 files were taken on Samsung s22 Ultra and are the same HEVC codec.  Also, some of the MP4s that did import into Organizer will not play now -- giving the error that my system does not have required compressos/decompressor(codec).

I downloaded your file and tried in on my system in both Organizer and Premiere Elements.  It worked.  You might try an online chat at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

Thanks Bill -- i will have to do that.

Just for fun i tried to import the same batch of MP4 files into PSE Organizer 2022.  Worked w/o any issues.  So something is amiss with PSE Organizer 2023.
