Hello.

On my timeline I have a music track that I want to cut at a certain point and then join it together at another point.

How is this achieved, please?

Correct answer Steve Grisetti

Go the program's preferences and, on the Audio page, set Remix Options from Remix to Trim.

Hi Peru and Steve Grisetti,

Many thanks for your reply's.

I'm using the latest version of premiere Elements on a Mac using Mac High Sierra. I have inserted an MP3 track into my audio below my video.

The link that Peru sent me to is what I'm trying to achieve.

I have a song that is too long for the video, but I don't want to use the remix to alter the track length. I want to cut the song at two certain points and the delete the section I don't want and re join the song.

I have read the response in Peru's link, but on the CTI plyhead, I have the option to cut, but this only cuts video and not the song track.

I hope this makes more sense?

Regards

Dafydd

It's not clear what you're asking.

Are you asking to do something other than cut out a segment of your music clip?

Regardless, please let us know what version of the program you're using on what operating system and what the source is of your music.
