Stabilising with 4k and 25 Fps produces a jerky result

If I stabilise a video with 4k and 25 FPS in Premiere Elements 2024, the result is like a film with 15 frames per second, i.e. it jerks unnaturally. If I play the result at 1.5 x speed, it fits again and runs smoothly. So don't get me wrong, the film always has 25 FPS, it just looks like it has 15 FPS. I have tested this with different settings and it was always the same result.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Look under the Edit menu and note the Project Settings for your project. Do they match your video specs exactly (3840x2160 at 25 fps)?

Did you render your timeline after you applied the stabilizer effect?
