Time Stretch will not work on multiple clips, but it will on single clips

I have several images that I want to change the default duration for. I can change the duration on single clips without a problem, but I cannot select multiple clips and then change the duration all at once. There is a catch however, when I select multiple clips and the timestretch dialog box appears, I am able to select/deselect the link icon, but the time slider/numerical input is greyed out. I am using premiere elements 18.

Thanks

Is it possible that there is both a still and video clip in the selection?

There are no changes in the way the Time Stretch tool functions, if that's what you're asking.

No.  When I select the time stretch tool all the options are grayed out.

As clarification, time streach tool with multiple images selected duration is grayed out and 0.

It only works for one image.

On mine, with one or many stills selected, I can't type in a new percentage.  The fields do look a little grey!  But, if I click and hold on the field with numbers in it next to Duration, I can slide my mouse horizontally and the percentage changes.  For me (Windows) it works with one or many stills.    With a video clip selected, both fields are 'live', so you can type in a new percentage.

On mine, Time Stretch is non functional if you try it with both video clips and stills selected.

The reason you cannot use % is that still images don't have speed (every frame is the same).

Still images only have Duration.

You can select multiple still images and change the duration in one go.

They will all adjust on the timeline.
