VTS audio

New Here ,
Jun 03, 2019 Jun 03, 2019

We just upgraded to Premiere Elements 2019 from 2014 on all of our CPUs (new builds).

In the past, we've told our community producers to just copy the VTS (mpg files) folder from their

DVD (recorded on a desktop DVD recorder at their church) to their hard drive and then bring

the files into Premiere. Always worked like a charm in 2014, but in 2019, their not getting any audio \

unless they covert their files in another program.

Help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Can you use the MediaInfo program and post a screen shot of the "Text" view for one of your files?

I will, but due to my lack of knowledge, I'm not sure where that program is.

Please help.

Let's try this. I hope this helps. Again, 2014 has no issues with opening these files.

Again, these files were recorded on external DVD burners with AC3 audio. I know that Elements 2018

had issues with Dolby audio. Apparently so does 2019 when it comes to SD videos?

Our HD videos are fine.

Windows 10 Pro. My HD files with Dolby audio seem to be alright, but

the SD files don't have audio.

Also, new computer builds. All with Core I9, 64gb of RAM, RTX 2080ti GPUs.
