Why does the movie I’m editing and playing stop playing when i go to type some personal notes in TextEdit on Mac? I’d rather have it keep playing while I make notes about it. If you know a way to watch the movie I'm editing while making notes about it in a different screen on my apple computer desktop, please share?
Thanks,
Lee

Your computer may be needing to swap RAM with disk because you've got more going on than the RAM can handle.

Sounds complicated. Isn't there some setting that I can just change in Premiere Elements?

No. It is likely that you just don't have enough RAM to multitask.

Thanks. Guess I will be buying 8 more Gigs of Ram. Maybe that will help? Yes, Thanks. Best

Sounds like I need to clear out some space and add more RAM. That's all I can do now.
Thanks for your help.
