Cannot drag clip from source window to timeline

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have a 1080p sequence

2. Open a 1080p clip in Source window

3. Set in/out times in source window

4. Click Video icon or click in the preview window and drag to sequence
 
Result: ...

Cannot paste video.  Can paste audio

Get little circle/slash icon


Expected: ...Video to drop in just fine
 
System info
    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.1.0.52
    OS: Windows v10.0.22621, RAM: 63.80 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

 

Also does it in the release version of 23.

Sorry. Is Source Patching enabled for both A1 and V1? The controls are located on the far left of the timeline. That is the typical problem.
