Retrieving frame errors with a temporal effect on MXF

App: Premiere Pro (Beta) 23.3.0 (Build 20)
Platform and OS: Mac mini M1 2020, 16GB, macOS Ventura 13.0

If a Sony MXF clip is added into a project and a temporal effect is applied (for example the built-in Time > Echo or Time > Posterize Time) to it,
then Premiere reports retrieving frame errors and frame substitution recursion attempts (see screenshot in attach).

Expected result: all clip frames should be retrieved and provided to the effect without errors.

MXF file info from Premiere:
Wrapper type: MXF OP1a (type: SingleItem SinglePackage MultiTrack Stream Internal)
File generated by: Sony, Mem (2.00)
AVC Unconstrained
Bitstream Format: Sony
Gamma: S-Log3 Cine

We can provide a sample video file and project on request from Adobe by e-mail (specify e-mail address).
Thank you.

You can recode your clip from MXF to Apple ProRes or another high quality codec in separate project without any effects and then continue to work with this new clip.

    Dear Adobe,
I have the same issue here. How can I fix this? I have it on several files and need to create the Posterize look for a client project.

Nah, looks like they fixed this error for exactly that file I have sent to support. But another MXF file from Canon camera still fails.

Looks like it is fixed in Premiere Pro 2024 24.4.1.

Yes, it's good that this is getting some attention but I thought it had been acknlowledged over a year ago. It was certainly informally acknowledged in the phone call I had with the 'senior team' in February 2023. Email below is from 14th February 2023.

We haven't encountered any "Sony MXF" that produces this behavior.

Denis, I've sent you a link to some private upload space; if you need to use your file delivery system, you can use my address.

Has there been any update on this bug? My production team has run into this error while using our Sony FX6 footage and mainly using neat video. Please Adobe staff! Help us! You're our only hope!
