Transcript: cannot save as text or any other format

In the transcript menu bar, clicking the 3 dot dialogue button at RHS to access transcript>save to text file does nothing.

Has worked for every other project I have worked on. There appears to be no workaround from any other menu.

    I don't see a problem in 24.6.1 on Win10. What version are you running?

     

    A screenshot might help.

    I'm not using Beta, and this is happening for me today. Always worked before.

    Thanks for reporting. The bug fix for that went in today. Should be fixed in the next official beta build.

    You can, however, create a (by default unassigned) keyboard shortcut for some of these functions. Edit -> Keyboard Shortcuts. Enter "Export" in the search box, and look under Text Panel: Export Transcript, Export to CSV,and Export to Text Filer. There are others, e.g., Import Corrected Transcript.

     

    This is one of those massively disruptive bugs that happen from time to time in the Beta version. They are usually fixed very quickly.
