workflow: import clip; use scene auto detect (create bins for each sub-clip); select one clip; generate static transcript with "separate speakers" option --> produces a BSD with "PAGE FAULT IN NON-PAGED AREA" error; reboots PC

What Beta build are you running?

 

In my test, it did not crash, but I'm not sure exactly what you did.

 

I assume you added the clip to a sequence in order to do scene detection.

 

You can only do a static transcript of a sequence. And selecting a clip would have no effect. You could set in/out points and transcribe only that as a static transcript.

 

In any event, I tried all those options and did not crash.
