Audio Transitions Broke After Upgrade

In the attached image you'll see the state that the majority of the audio transitions on a recent upgrade turned into "grayed" versions of the transition I had. The constant power one on the bottom left I just added to show the difference.

For all the transitions that are shown, audio plays back as if the transition were entirely absent, as if nothing is there. I have to manually go back and recreate each one, just using the grayed versions as a guide.

Has anyone else experienced this? Have I done something in this life or perhaps a past one to deserve this? Should I just never upgrade again?
