DISCUSS : MAC H264/HEVC export performance improvement

In the latest Beta build, we have improved export performance. on MAC only for H264/HEVC formats.

In our testing, we are observing 10 to 20% reduction in time across various projects.

 

Please try it out and see if you are getting these gains. Also, in case of any issues, please let us know.

For me 14.8bXX is quicker except for hardware encoding,

I try it with 4 projects

(I try to put a sheet in the comment but this make my post as spam, email me if you want data like xls result, preset )

The mac encode improvements are in 14.9 beta version for H.264/ HEVC Hardware encoding. 

Please update the latest build and share your feedback with one or two projects.

I would request you to please compare the latest 14.9 beta build with the latest stable build 14.7 to see the differences for UHD and HD (applied with some effect) sequences.  Please try match source export with sequences and share your feedback for 1 or 2 projects.
