Hovering mouse over icons no longer tells me what they are!

It's just not working anymore. 😞   I have no idea what I'm selecting in the program now. Where before I could hover my mouse over an icon (like the razor blade for instance) and after a second it would show the word "CUT" with the associated keyboard shortcut.

Also, how do I save a premiere pro beta project where it will open on regular premiere pro and NOT beta?

Thanks!

Check your preferences and make sure Show Tool Tips is checked. Also try resetting your Premiere preferences and deleting all your media cache files.

With Project file version changes with beta releases, the only way you can "go backwards"to open up a project on regular premiere is to export an XML file. Will it contain everything from your Beta version edit, no. But it should get you most of the way back to work in an older version of Premiere.
