Importing media is now 3 to 5 times faster in Premiere Pro.

 

As of Premiere Pro Beta 22.3 Build 94, if you are importing multiple clips at the same time, Premiere Pro now imports your media asynchronously instead of queuing. 

 

Based on timing tests across operating systems, async import makes getting media into Premiere faster than ever!
