Captions from Transcription

Is there a way of having a 'preset' subtitle over 2 lines , at the moment I have 20 mins of transcribed audio  as captions in 4 word slugs.. can this be amended without me having to merge captions ?

Transcription is still a Beta option, so this thread may get moved.

 

I think the answer is no. I don't think there is any control over this so far.

 

PR is going to make its best guess as to timing and amount of text. I can't test right now. What are you seeing; a lot of one line subtitles? If the pace of the spoken word is slow enough, this general preference would be for single line captions that appear while the words are spoken.

Seems that way.

I have to check it back anyway for grammatical errors so I can reformat it then.
