Question

Audio not rendering when zoomed out, zoomed in works

As in the title when you are zoomed out the audio of some video files renders the wrong waveform preview. If you zoom in it shows a proper waveform, but it's REALLY hard to work on a close zoom like this. This is a very old issue. Please provide a fix. Attached a video example.

Errors like this are generally from a corruption of the peaks files on disk.  I'd LOVE to know how the peak file became corrupted, so this could be fixed in the application.  Any relevant info would be very much appreciated.

In the mean time, to get you up and running again, you should delete the Media Cache from disk.  This will cause Premiere to rebuild the needed peak files when you open the project again, and should correct the issue.

Are you for real? What waveform in Effect Controls? There's no waveform there, what are you talking about? It's about the waveform on the timeline, what do you not understand?

there's nothing outside the recorded region that would be relevant to the issue.

You be surprised.

Show entire waveform in Effect Controls.

I'm zooming in and out, you can see the waveform changes, there's nothing outside the recorded region that would be relevant to the issue.
