Audio Waveforms Not Displaying in Timeline – Premiere Pro 24.1

Hello everyone !

I am experiencing an issue in Adobe Premier Pro 24.1 (latest version) where audio waveforms are not appearing in the timeline. This makes precise editing difficult.

Here are some details of the issue:

• The audio plays fine but no waveforms are visible.
• I tried deleting cache , refreshing waveforms, enabling/disabling waveform display and restarting Premier Pro.
• My system specs are MacBook Pro M2 Max, macOS Ventura 13.6.
• Project settings are: Standard sequence, 48 kHz audio, MP4/MOV files.

Is this a known bug or is there another fix? Any assistance would be highly appreciated.
