Color Mismatch when Replacing with After Effects Composition

Community Beginner ,

After updating to the new version (25.2), I noticed a color difference in a file between Premiere Pro and After Effects, even when there are no layers applied. This color shift is visible directly in the Premiere timeline. Also, plug-ins that contain transparent footage are now showing a mismatch in color, which affects the visual

— making them appear non-transparent, unlike in previous versions.

Can someone help me with this? While playing the video, it's very noticeable when a section is using Dynamic Link or not, because there's always a visible color shift between the clips.SCR399 Linked Comp 05 (0-00-02-42).pngSCR399.00_00_28_23.Still004.png

Color management is far more complex than it used to be.

So to help we pretty much need screengrabs of your full color management settings in both Ae and Pr.

Hi @Lardyen,

As @R Neil Haugen mentioned, any screenshots of your color settings in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and even source media information you are working with would be helful to look at.

A few questions: Are you round-tripping with Dynamic Link from Premiere Pro to After Effects and back to Premiere Pro? Or did you start working with this file in After Effects first and then bringing this into to Premiere? Is this happening with only your plug-ins or are you noticing it with other footage? What kind of footage are working with? Are you using any LUTs or have you changed any source color settings for your media?

Hope we can help you soon,
Dani

I'm sorry — I've identified that this bug is related to the RTFX extension in After Effects. I noticed it when using some fire elements that now appear with a different color compared to the previous version. I'll upload some additional information
