Color picker / viewer gamma

The colour picker tool doesnt read the viewer gamma, so when creating a colour matte to fill the background of a graphic, I can't match the colours without turning DCM off.

    Wouldn't that mean the opposite? The picker is actually grabbing the corrected color rather than the original value causing a shift.
