Crashing on Export Tab

Ever since the new update (25.2.0 Build 147), the export tab has been quite unstable. Crashes seem to occur 9/10 times for me.
Crashes have happened when:

-Trying to name an export

-Choosing export file location
-Sometimes simply opening the export tab causes crashes

I've resorted to clearing my media cache before re-opening projects which seems to get me a good 1/2 exports before encountering another crash.

For additional context, I am experiencing this on PC and I can't attest as to if this is also an issue on Mac.

Specs:
Intel Core  i7-14700K 3.40 GHz
64.0 GB DDR5
RTX 3060 12GB
2tb Samsung 990 Pro (x 2)
Windows 11 Pro

Thanks for the info @Jack Stokes. I second what @MyerPj said about media—what kind of media files are you working with and what is your export location usually? How much space is available in these locations?

Hi Jack, I see @Dani_V. is helping you, that's great. Be sure to give us some info on your media. And also, have you tried resetting your preferences? Hold down shift as you start PP from the desktop icon, then select the options you'd like.

I just want to mention the 'new' Productions workflow, as you said the above. It's just what you need for having standard assets around, readily available in any project, here's a great link for them if you have some time... There's a video and a PDF available at the site below:

Hey Dani,
This problem seems to happen across projects, though I haven't created any new projects as my work uses all the same assets and so I work within the same project file. I have third party plugins installed although none of them are present in the sequences I'm trying to export. As for Media Encoder, I'm sure that would work fine as does the Premiere Pro export option, though the problem is encountered upon entering the export tab itself (or changing file names/destinations), so in the event that the program doesn't crash upon heading to export, either Media Encoder or Premiere Pro's export options would work fine.

Hi @Jack Stokes,

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums and thank you for submitting a bug report. Sorry you're experiencing issues.

Is this happening with all of your projects or only specific ones? Has it occurred in brand new projects as well? Are you using any third-party plugins or specific effects?

What if you try sending to Media Encoder, are you able to export there?

Sorry for the frustration and hope we can help you soon.
Dani
