Crop Effect - Right Crop stops working if Edge Feather property is adjusted

I placed the 'Crop' transition on a clip.

I animated the Right crop to crop the clip from right to left, 0 to 100%.

Previewed, it looked fine.

I adjusted the edge feather.

The clip no longer crops from right to left (no cropping occurs now).

Hello @Robert32194799hqfj,

Thanks for filing the bug report. Like @MyerPj, I cannot reproduce this error.

Can you try a new project and see if the same thing happens?

I hope the team can help you soon. Sorry for the problem;

Thanks,
Kevin

You might want to try the beta version, you can have both running side by side. IE: It doesn't affect your shipping version. Otherwise, it could be in issue only affecting macs?

Weird. For me, as soon as I set the edge feather (to any number. I tried a bunch), the Right Crop stops working altogether.

I tried clearing the cache and restarting the software and computer but no dice.

This is on Premiere Pro 24.6.1 (Build 2) on an M2 Pro Macbook Pro FYI

It seems to be working here. Edge Feather only affects the verticle crop line and also the top and bottom of the image once I go about 12% or so.

Win11 23H2, PP 24.6.1.

Also note: in 25.x beta, the crop is now an intrinsic effect, IE: in the Effects Control panel along with Motion, Opacity and Time Remapping.
