Documentation - Settings or Preferences? (Lexicon)

The User Guide page is here:

Set Preferences

It references "Preferences".

The menu says "Settings":

The dialog says "Preferences":

This is another example of problems with the lexicon in documentation.

I wasn't clear on that from the first post.

That would be different than on PCs then and yes. should use the correct terms.

R Neil Haugen thanks for replying.

Mac.

"So when you go to that Settings panel, which do you get? Project settings or Premiere's Preferences?"

When you say "settings panel" I assume you mean the Preferences Dialog - and I will refer to the screen cap I have already provided above of that.

Is that on a Mac? As the Preferences on PC are definitely Edit/Preferences.

And there are Project settings that are different from the Preferences.

So when you go to that Settings panel, which do you get? Project settings or Premiere's Preferences?
