P: Duplicate frame markers only showing on one clip in 24.1

A new bug with 24.1: Duplicate frames markers in the timeline is only showing on one of the two clips with duplicate frames (rather than both). It seems to be showing only the new clip, not the original.

Same. ProResLT. Not indicating other clip and stays flagged if i delete the unflagged clip.

I also have this issue with .mov (422 proxy files) Moreover if I delete the clip with no duplicate frames indicators, the indicator doesn't disappear from the remaining clip, wrongly signalling that there are duplicate frames when there are none

This is happening to me as well - on both WAV and MXF files. Premiere 24.1

Update: Just noticed it's sometimes happening on wav music files too.

As Adam said, I'm only seeing this problem with my mxf files shot in the field. But if that same mxf is part of a multicam, then it displays the duplicate markers properly.

Having very similar problems. Typically only the second of two duplicate clips shows the duplicate frame marker. I have noticed that zooming in sometimes changes this. Restarting computer and/or Premiere does not solve the problem.

I did not have this problem in Premiere 2023.

I started this project in 2023 and updated it when we upgraded Premiere, so I did wonder if this issue specific to projects that migrated from one version to another. However, it sounds like it is more widespread that this.

Upvoted. See my post in this new thread where he mentions splitting a clip:
