Duplicate markers 'disappear' on video clips when tracks are minimized.

They still are visible on the audio clips

IMO the minimized tracks are too narrow.

Apologies. There is a known issue in 24.4.x with smaller track sizes not displaying Duplicate Frame Markers and it has been fixed in 24.6 beta build 025+.

Hi Rav Bhogal,

We’re sorry about the poor experience. We’ve recently addressed this issue in Pr v24.6 Beta. Would you mind trying the latest Beta to see if it’s working properly? Refer to this link to learn more about the Creative Cloud Beta program.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Regarding my comment below on duplicate frame markers. I just tried maximising the timelines....assuming it's similar to waveforms....minimized timelines won't show dup frame markers on a video layer to avoid covering up the file name?

If so i'm happy with that also 🙂 Just want to make sure it's not a bug.....seems like a feature that has been taken away.

When you have minmized all tracks on the timeline, the duplicate colour bars on clips do not appear. This is frustating as when you have multiple tracks/cameras, and need to check whether there is any duplicate clips its not showing them , instead you have to make all tracks larger for the timeline to show the duplicate clips. Please can you revert to previous version to show duplicates quicker and easier.

So I just encountered a situation where it did not appear to be working and discovered that duplicate frame markers do not appear on video tracks set to the minimum height. Works fine on audio tracks with minimum height.

In new version of PPr 24.4.1(Build 2)
When I press ctrl + (for make a video and audio tracks smaller), duplicates markers shown only in audio tracks, for video tracks I must a little bit increase a track size.
And it is a little bit annoing

"There is a known issue in 24.4.x ..."

As a "known issue", this does not seem to be documented as a Known Issue.

Is there a reason this is not being communicated to users?

That is a fair question Remote Index, but unfortuantely I do not have an answer. I have raised the request with the team to provide more infomation in the Known Issues link, however.

Trent Happel,

Thanks for your response on this. However, you leave the impression that there is actually no protocol or standard process in place at Adobe to communicate Known Issues to users. The impression you've given is that it's an afterthought, actually forgotten in this instance, and dealt with on a case by case basis if at all.

HI Sumeet,

So it was an issue after all. Thanks for the heads up. Great to hear 🙂 I'll wait for the official release to update.

Any update on the colourlabel issue? A former Adobe representitive mentioned the problem will be resolved in the latest update but doesn't seem like it has happened. All the colour labels are almost the same colour. Yellow is brown etc....
