For years about 60% of the time I duplicate a sequence auto save stops and I have to restart Premier to keep working.

Thanks Dani,

I can confirm that it happens when I am the only one in the team project. In fact it happened recently in a team project that I had not yet invited anyone into. I will definitly click the red triangle next time. I had not noticed that, and wondered how to get the error message back once it disapeared.

Thank you for the information @ShaneKing! Regarding this happening in Team projects, have you noticed if this happens while another team member has the project open on their end or does it happen even if you are the only person working on it at a given time? If you get this error again, would you be able to click on the little red triangle in the lower right-corner and see if it provides any more info and an error code?

Hi Dani,

I really appreciate the quick thoughtful response.

I can't list the specs of all the computers I have had this issue with, as it has been happening for years, although I can say they have all been PCs. When I used to work primarily in local projects, duplicating sequences would just crash the program, if I remember correctly (it has been about 5 since we switched to primarily using team projects). In team projects as soon as I select the dublicated sequence to change the name, I get an error message in the lower right corner saying it cannot auto save. It looks like the auto saves are going to Creative Cloud, and saving every second or so. Is that enough information, or is there something you'd like to know?

Hi @ShaneKing,

Sorry you are experiencing this issue, we need a few more details to try to help like Premiere Pro version you are currently on and hardware information. Please see How to Report a Problem.

Could you share what location your auto-saves are being saved to (File > Project Settings > Scratch Disks) and what your settings are under Preferences > Auto-Save? (How often are they meant to be saving, how many maximum project versions, and is it meant to be saving the current project?)

Are you working in a regular Premiere Pro project, a Production, or a Team project?

Sorry for the frustration,
Dani
