Media Replacement MOGRT - Flickering on export

Hello all!

I'm having trouble with exporting a video with custom made (After Effects) Media Replacement MOGRTs.

Every time I export the video, they flicker in the final edit. Also, not playing the sfx that are built into them. A new MOGRTs is affected every time I export, (it's never in the same place - seemingly random).

Things I have tried:

- Placed an adjustment layer on top of all the footage with a blank Lumetri effect applied.

- Cleared Media Cache before exporting.

- Exported using Sortware Encoding instead of Hardware encoding.


My specs are as follows:

Adobe Premiere 2025 for Mac

Running on: Macbook Pro with M2 Max Chip, 32 GB memory, 30 Core GPU.

    Hi there,


    1. I'm working within a videoteam and create MOGRT's in After Effects for Premiere. I'm not sure if everyone uses the same version of Premiere, since we're dealing with quite a lot editors, but I'm thinking we all update to the latest version of Premiere whenever there is one.

    2 Working with Mac, on the companies network.

     

    I'm running into an issue that keeps showing up: replaced footage glitches, disappears in the preview but also on the render. It's the same problem as this post: (https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/media-replacement-mogrt-flickering-on-export/m-p/15264505#M561686) but so far no answer to that one as well.

     

    Fixes so far within the team have been (while keeping fingers crossed, everytime)

    - Restart premiere

    - Empty Media Disk Cache

     

    Hope someone can help us out!

    Sorry you're running into issues. Could you tell me:

    1. the Premiere Pro version number you're using
    2. If you've seen the same issue if you export via Media Encoder
    3. OS
    4. Can you share the collected project and mogrts with me to look at? You can Private Message me a link.

    Hi Theresa,

     

    The version I use is 25.4.1, but as I mentioned; I'm not sure if everyone uses the same version, since we're dealing with quite a lot of editors.

     

    I'm working on MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1. 

     

    Right now I don't have a project that I can share, but as soon the issue occurs again, I'll send it to you.

    We are facing the same issue on our facility. Tried everthing and nothing worked, even the playback flickering.

    I ended up exporting the Mogrt as video clip on an empty timeline with alpha and re-importing it again! which is not the perfect solution.

     

    And chance of fixing this issue?
