MXF Playback issues

I am editing after a 5 mins or so I hit the space bar nothing will play and every clip is just a blank with a black screen. Premiere is not frozen, I can save, I just about do anything but the clip playback preview is just blank. I have to keep closing premiere and open it up back for it to work and play. It very much annoying. I also can't move a clip, I have to wait 1 min for it to move and then when I hit the play button and stop the clip wont move again. I am editing with .Mxf File shot on Alexia Mini LF. It's making my process very slow to work on a project, which the deadline is tomorrow.

Are you using any plugins? Can you try holding shift while opening premiere and then clear the cache.

It did not work. I am still having the issues. The new version of premiere doesn't make it even better. This new release is full of bugs.

I actually drag it from the finder onto the timelime first. Then made bin file folders and labels. I will try that way and let you know. Thank you.

I've seen issues posted with Op1-a mxf. In another thread a staffer asked how it was imported into Pr, drag/drop from Finder/Explorer, MediaBrowser, what?

There are still a couple formats that actually the MediaBrowser panel and the Import page (oddly enough) handle better. If you didn't, might try using Import page or MediaBrowser on one of the files, see if it works.
