I updated Premiere at 25.2 version and I've noticed a that in the source monitor are not showed the in and out points over the audio clip. Is it a bug or can i activate them somehow? I attach an image for greater clarity.

Thanks,

Vito.

The lighter area that indicates Audio In/Out in Source Monitor does not update when setting In/Out points with keyboard Mark In and Mark Out

Steps to encounter:

  1. Load audio into source from Project panel or by match-frame from timeline
  2. If In/Out was set, blue I/O indicators on time ticker and in green shaded area will be as last selected or no area will be selected if no I/O has been set on this clip yet.
  3. Set new In/Out points using keyboard Mark In and Mark Out.

What should have happened:

Like in versions past, the light green area in the waveform that indicates In to Out should update. This is a very key indicator since it’s so large.

What actually happened:

When marking new In / Out with Mark in / Mark out keyboard buttons, the blue time ticker will update, but the lighter green area in the waveform that indicates the time selected by marking I/O will not change, it stays at the old I/O points.

Note:

If the blue time ticker In/Outs are DRAGGED or the edge of the green shaded area in the waveform view is DRAGGED, the shaded area will update as expected. This seems to be an issue with Mark In and Mark out.

Hi. Another bug in Premiere Pro. Not that serious though.

In the Source monitor switched to show the waveform if you set your in and out points with the hotkeys, the waveform does not update, showing an old area thus selected.

Steps to reproduce:

- Double click a clip in your Project bin to open it in the Source mon

- Hover your mouse over the clip preview icon and set the In and Out points with the I and O shortcuts. Note the position of the outlined area and the in-out brackets below.

- Hover your mouse over the clip preview icon again and set the In and Out points on a different area. Note the position of the outlined area and the in-out brackets below.

- Do the same in the source monitor window - select an area with the hotkeys and the playhead, then change it with the hotkeys again. Here the playhead shows the area selected previously has stayed in its place though the new selection is seconds later:

- The selected area updates in the waveform if you click and drag the i\o selection below with your mouse.

Please fix it for it's a distracting bug for those who work with mostly hotkeys.

Hi @AndrewTheGreat - This issue has been fixed in beta version 25.4.0 build 8 or later and will be included in the next release of Premiere Pro version 25.4.0. I will merge your post with the primary thread.

Getting same issue for 2 weeks now.  Updated GPU, reset prefs, updated drivers, reinstalled prem.  Nothing fixed it. It's a real bug with lots of legs and bites.

Upgraded to 25.2.1 and I'm having the same issue. The in and out points show up on the scrub bar below my audio files in the source monitor but not actually in the waveform portion of the source monitor.

When I open a file in source window, choose to see waveforms and mark in and out, I only see the selection on the timeline, but I don't see it visualized on the waveform itself, as it was before the update.
Could you bring it back?
Thank you
