P: Premiere media bin automatically scrolling to the top. Fixed in version 25

PR 25.5.0, Win 11. I used the method I described just a few posts back. I do not see the scrolling.

25.5 on win 11, done everything, nothing resolved as of 22 September 2025, poor show adobe.

Adobe this is pathetic, latest version installed, saved preferences removed, done this done that, you are quick enough taking payment but slow to fix problems.

Resetting preferences can result in loss of preferences/preset files, but the project files and any media files are still there. The list of "recent" projects will be empty. If this is your issue, just "open project" and navigate to your project file.

What OS and specific version of PR? Some users reported the fix does not work, but we need more specifics.

I'm on Win 10 and just tested on PR 25.2.3. Works correctly. My test method is to create a bin, double-click it to open in a new window, set it to be icon view, make sure it is narrow enough to scroll, drag in 6 or more files, and see if it scrolls to the top. It does not.

Im having exact same issue tried a fix that literally wiped out 3 days worth of work, premire pro sucks, you pay yearly for a slow bug filled platform. is there a fix to this??

Hi @Colby Rogers and @roggi - Can you try and hold down "shift" and select the option to "Reset app preferences" or start a new project in 25.1.0 and let us know if that helps your issue.  I am not seeing this in 25.1.0.  It's also helpful if you share a screen recording and your system specs.
