playhead movement

Product: Premiere Pro
Version: 25.4.0 (Build 99)
OS: Windows 11 pro

Bug Description:
In Premiere Pro 25.4.0 Build 99, the playhead can no longer be moved by seconds.

  • “Go to Time” command is missing from the Sequence menu and Help search.

  • Typing a timecode in the Program Monitor (e.g. 15. to jump 15 seconds) resets the playhead to 0 instead of moving to the correct time.

  • Keyboard shortcuts for Step Forward 1 Second and Step Backward 1 Second do not work as intended; they still move the playhead by frames, not seconds.

  • “Display Format” options for the timeline (timecode vs frames) are no longer present in Sequence Settings.

Expected Behavior:

  • Ability to move the playhead by seconds using numeric entry or shortcuts.

  • Proper recognition of timecode input (HH:MM:SS:FF).

  • Restored access to “Go to Time” or equivalent functionality.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a new sequence in 25.4.0 Build 99.

  2. Attempt to use “Go to Time” (command is missing).

  3. Click Program Monitor time display and type 15. → playhead resets to 0.

  4. Assign “Step Forward 1 Second” shortcut → playhead still jumps only frames.

Impact:
This is a major regression that makes precise navigation by time impossible. Editors must manually count frames or use macros, which is impractical and error-prone.
