Premiere 25.1 new install--behaving badly

Problems with new install -- Premiere 25.1

Apple 2 Max, OS Sonoma 14.7.1

Import Settings checked

After install, Settings including Workspaces and Keyboard Shortcuts were set at default

The Welcome Window offered only a project file from 4 months ago

For me, it's not worth resetting all of my many presets. I went back to 24.6.4, despite an apparent bug that doesn't allow saving Effect presets.

@willmoving
To manually copy over profile settings from previous versions you can navigate to your local drive and users/Documents to find the Adobe Premiere Pro folders. It should look something like this ,

/Usersib360/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/25.0/Profileib360
The Premiere Pro folder should have versions numbers and within it you copy over your profile setting into the new version folder and overwrite with the profile setting you want. Below are some screen shot examples. Let me know if this helps.
Thank you
Ian

Hi @willmoving have you tried to use the CC sync user settings option? If that doesn't work you can always copy the old user settings and presets from the past version into the current version. If you need more guidance on that I would be happy to help.
I can post a road map for that in just a minute.

Thank you

Ian
