Premiere randomly freezes and uses 100-103% GPU usage.

There is no specific triggers that I know that causes this, all I know is when I use the application, it has these random spurts of freezing, in which it cranks the GPU usage between 100-103% and freezes for a while, before maybe returning to normal, otherwise I'd have to close the application.

Any suggestions for this?

Any assistance on this? Or are we just leaving it on read. It's frustrating to have this continously happen.

Ah okay, Nice to know we pay over $100 a month to receive no assistance. Thanks a lot Adobe!

If you want immediate assistance you have to contact support over chat.

This forum is a user to user forum as I am.

Might want to try proxies as this is a 'difficult' codec.

Noticed this was happening today when I was using the "enhance speach" feature. No video even loaded in the project, but just using that feature for some reason started using ALL the resourcesScreenshot 2024-05-15 152544.png
