Hi @eduardo_jesus_6392
See if this user's p-premiere-extreme-lag-with-proxies is similar to the problem you are reporting. If you have something entirely different, let me know, and we can look into it.

Check on staffer IanB's comments, as if that applies, that's a problem with the app itself I think.

If that doesn't apply ... then the question is are you using the H.264 proxies? Or ProRes?

H.264 will get small file sizes on disc, but can play back horribly depending on the system. A you don't list your CPU, we can't tell if your system has hardware encoding in the CPU or not. Which will affect H.264/long-GOP playback.

ProRes proxies will be larger files on disc, but the playback will normally be butter smooth.

A guy on Reddit told me: "Did you check if your video has variable frame rate detected? If it does, making proxies won’t help negate the lag. Your best bet is to transcode to ProRes through Shutter Encoder."

And yes... using handbrake to "export" the video with "Constant Framerate" and then importing it to the Premiere Project and making the Proxy solved it.
But now im wondering if i have to do that ALWAYS if i need to use a Proxy?

It would depend on the media, and the devices creating it. As if it is VFR, yes it should be converted to CFR in Handbrake or ShutterEncoder, both of which allow batch processing.

There is currently a known issue with proxies when linked to a sequence connected to source media. However, the workaround is to make proxies and then build a separate sequence linked only to the proxies. I would give that a shot and see if that helps. Also, check the link to this known issue, which Adobe has been working on fixing: p-premiere-extreme-lag-with-proxies
