Hey everyone,
I worked on a video the other day and wanted to reopen it yesterday.
While scrubbing through it I noticed that 90% of my animations where missing.
And I was really irritated because I was 100% sure I saved and even checked the autosaves
where the same problem accured. So I tried to "redo" what I did in the first clip and
suddenly the keyframes "appeared" again (see video/gif below).
This would sound like my problem was solved but here comes the tricky part.
As you can see it only "re enables" the keyframes on the animation I am on.
So I would need to know what I did and also klick every single layer, clip whatever
and then delete the "new" keyframe I just sat hoping I didn't override another one.
As you all can imagine this takes nearly as long as completely editing the whole video again.
Maybe someone can tell me if this issue is known or what might have happened while saving the project.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day,
Benny
Keyframes problem is resolved in Beta build 31. But be aware that there is another serious bug regarding multi-cameras: whenever you open a project with multi-cam sequences, all your cams will be switched to Cam1(!)...
Actually, I had the same multi-cam bug with Beta (23.6) and Stable 23.5 before I reverted to 23.3, so this bug is not a new one.
Edit: Just installed 23.5 to double check about the multi-cam bug: no, this bug was in Beta only.

Oh this are the specs and also what I tried:
PC Specs:
Ryzen 5900X
32 GB 3000 Mhz DDR4
MSI ARMOR GTX 1080
SAMSUNG 970 Pro SSD
The Error occured on
Prem Pro. v 23.5, 23.4
Prem Pro Beta. v 23.5, 23.4
I tried:
- reloading the autosave
- making some space
- savin the project anew
- other versions of Premier Pro

Yes, I have the same problem. It looks like another very serious bug caused by recent updates that should be fixed ASAP. (Win 10, Pr 23.5).
While the main aim was speed and stability since 23.4, for me, it was complete waste of time and energy with my projects, I'll switch back to 23.3...

For the past 3 days I've noticed Keyframes added to an object (video or still) in Edit Controls (Motion, Opacity, Effects - like Gaussian Blur) disappear upon relaunching the project.
Any added Keyframes defaults to a random value for ex: Opacity set to 50% resets to a random 35%; in Motion tab: Scale and Position reset to the first Keyframe value, or 100%; Rotation set to 5% resets to 0%.
The only way to return to previous Keyframes is to randomly adding a new keyframe anywhere in the Keyframe window - which makes the original Keyframes and their values re-appear, then removing the newly added keyframe.
This happens to any and every item placed anywhere in the sequence, whether it's a resized video, an animated photo, or a blurred mask on an image.
I tried making a new Sequence, a new Project, in both Premiere Pro 23.4.0 and Premiere Pro (Beta) 23.6.0. to no success.

Saw this happen after I updated a project I had been working on in 23.3 to 23.5. I suspect this won't happen in projects created in 23.5 but haven't tried it yet.

Yes, this appears to be exactly same problem. Can anyone from Adobe probe this and offer a solution?

I just recreated all my missing keyframes,. Premiere did an update, and now they've vanished. I feel like I need to triple my day rate to account for all this extra time and stress! !!! Literally losing my mind.

Very frustrating I have had the exact same issue. I thought it was me losing my mind. Has there been a fix for this ??

Some people said going back to earlier versions (< 23.3 ) but that is more a workaround than a fix.
This also happens on 23.6 and it is a real pain. There must be something seriously be broken right now since even if you just save, close and reopen this happens.

As Ali Jaber pointed out the 23.6.0.31 version of the beta release fixed the problem.
I worked on a project could save, reopen, save, restart my pc without any problems for the project or Keyframes.
If you don't know how you make sure you are updating to the version here is a little screenshot to help from my updateable AE (but they should look identical):
The solutions should are going back to an earlier release (<23.3) or Updating the Premier Beta to 23.6.0.31. and work with it until the normal Premier Pro gets the update.
As they also pointed out there is a problem now with multi-cam. So make sure your fix works with your workflow.
Thanks to ya'll and have a nice day/evening.
