Timeline playback not working - Premiere Pro 25.2.3

In premiere pro, timeline playback stopped working.

It is the main sequence in the project (sequence Gitte Raafiler), other sequences play back fine. The issue ocured suddently, no new clips or effects were added to the timeline.

We have tried moving the project to a different computer, and problem persists.

Specs for workstations:

Workstation1:

OS: Win 11

CPU: ryzen 5600x

gpu: Nvidia 1080ti

RAM: 64gb

Workstation2:

OS: Win 11

CPU: ryzen 3900x

gpu: Nvidia 1070

RAM: 64gb

Media is a mix of Braw from pocket 6k, and waves from Røde wireless go pro

Workaround is copying sequence content to another sequence

It was converted from the previous version of premiere (25.xx) Don't know excactly which, I have the non converted project file, I can send it tomorrow if its any help (I am on a job today)

For the fun of it, I will try the textpanel workaround, so far, just copying thesequence content to another sequence has worked fine, so I figured it wasn't an effect that caused the non playback

Hi @ml64518019,

Thank you for submitting a bug report and for sharing a project file. There's no proxies being used, correct? I think I see the issue you are referring to in the sequence called 'Råklip - Gitte', just want to verify this is the one with the problem. I was able to resume playback on it by going in the Text panel and playing from there, and playback seemed to continue working afterwards in the timeline—could this be a temporary workaround for you?

Was this project converted from an older version?
