Trim window won't let me drag the edit points.

Hi, guys, wondering if anyone knows what this might be about. 

I put my playhead between two clips I want to edit and press command+T to bring up at the trim window so I could do the ripple and trim edit, however if I try to trim it using the mousepad, I won't do it. I can edit the clips by clicking on the +1 or +5 frames button but if I try to slide a clips In or Out point with my mouse it just keeps jumping back and I can't allign it. It's almost like it keeps jumping back to the start position. I don't know if this is a bug or a settings issue. If anyone knows of a solution, please, let me know. Thanks
