Is there anyway to export 10 bit H264/.mp4?

    h264 was not intended for 10 bit. h265 on the other end is.

    You can export 10 bit H.264, bit not in the MP4 container.  Those will be 8 bit only.

    Under the MXF OP1a format, there are AVC-I presets, which are 10 bit.

    On a side note, even Hollywood movies on Blu-ray are 8 bit 4:2:0, so the Match Source - Adaptive High Bitrate preset under the H.264 format will get you very usable results.

    Yes, I know but I believe it’s possible isn’t it?

    It is for a film festival: Prores or mp4. I am PC so Prores is challenging. Maybe I will give an MXF OP1A and the client can get a Prores done somewhere....

    You need to check with the filmfestival guys what they are able to playback.
