1080p Video Plays On Facebook As 720p

Does anyone know why my 1080p mp4 video only plays back on Facebook with a max. resolution of 720p? I see some videos people upload as 1080p, but mine are all 720p on FB? I export at H.264/mp4 – match source/high bitrate. When I Google it I see other people saying the same thing, but I haven’t come across an answer yet. Thanks!

According to Facebook, during the pandemic, in order to ease congestion on their networks and other internet providers, they are only streaming content at 720p. Can't find the news post link right ATM, but that was the deal. Lots of chatter about it on Google.
