2018 Premiere too small fonts

2018 Premiere has really small fonts on timeline clips. It's really hard to read. Adobe could give us more options with increasing size of fonts through out applications (AE especially). I am not using 4k monitors yet. I am assuming small fonts would be even smaller on 4k monitors. Thank you.

Hi Dym,
2018 Premiere has really small fonts on timeline clips.
Please attach a screenshot. How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot
- Whats is the resolution of your monitor?
- If it is an external monitor, how exactly it is connected?
Thanks,
Kulpreet Singh

Thanks for sharing the additional information & screenshots.
That seems to be an issue with the display scaling (can be changed at OS level). Please check the settings and change it to 125% or 150%.

Display scaling enlarges everything. We need to make just certain text within Premiere or AE to enlarge to be more visible, especially that text that editors are not familiar like clips' names (even when they know buttons by heart). Timeline clip names are really small compare to other fonts. I pointed out on the pictures above those areas. Premiere has that option but only for project window.

I tried everything on this thread and all of the text still looks like 6 pt font.
Dear Adobe friends,
Could you please make it easier (and make it a priority) to help visually impaired customers like myself by having an easy option (that doesn't involve seeking answers on a Reddit thread) to make ALL of the text for headings, file titles, numbers, and even the icons) bigger in Premier?
Thank you for any help you can offer on this front.

I see this as well and was the first thing i noticed when i upgraded. It is not related to high resolution monitors nor the scaling since this issue is not present in CC2017 and earlier. It seems that the font of the timeline items, all panels, bins, etc, etc has been changed. Just open the Preferences and notice that it look different.
Yes, the text is much harder to read than it is in previous versions and i see the same tiny font in After Effects CC2018 as well and this issue really needs to be adressed,
My screen resolution is 2560x1440 and no scaling, iow 100%.

my screen is 1980 * 1080 and I really do not see the texts too small. I hope it will be corrected soon.

They don't look any smaller than before. They're fine on my own 1440p monitor.

Hmm. The difference is so negligible, I didn't even notice.

When you have upper cases it's not that bad, but with lower cases clips' names the timeline clips names seem to be too small on my 3440x1440 LG screen. We often have clips' names lower cases and to change them to upper cases it's additional work.

If you look at my screendump in both versions I use the same clip. But both written differently

My very problem, except that CC 2018 appeared just fine until about an hour ago, when it suddenly morphed into micro-size. Everything else is hunky dory on my screens. I haven't done anything to the settings, and I'm not sure it would make any difference. I had this problem once before on my old laptop, and I can't remember how the issue was resolved. *****Update***** I went to Edit, Preferences, Interface, and changed UI scale to 200%. This solved most of the problem. Not all of it, but at least I can see it.

Sorry – I was completely in the fog zone when I was reading this post. I thought I was commenting on CC 2018, not Premier. My bad.
