360 video editing pc requirements 2020

Hi everyone,

I have a big doubt revolving the requirements for editing in vr, although I have a Ryzen 9 3900x, rtx 2080 super 8Gb, 16 Gb ram, I still have issues with the proxy media, the render and export setting in premiere and media encoder, even finding myself having to hard reset the entire pc.

The media I work with is from the insta360 pro 2 and always try to export a master file in 8k

If anyone know what is the proper setting and hardware for premiere to work this kind of media I would be grateful

Peter,

Try importing your current project into a new project. See if that frees you of any trouble.

Cheers,

I tried that but I still froze the pc, thanks anyway

Update: I bought 16Gb of RAM (now I'm working with 32Gb) and it seems this kind of solve it. Althought I still want to know the proper settings or workflow to work with this kind of media.

Thanks!

Peter

Try adding more RAM. Go with at least 64GB.
